Boca Chica is one of my favorite places in DR and I don’t miss out the chance of visiting it whenever I’m in the country. The hotel needs some serious renovation as the rooms are dark and old. Even though the rooms are outdated and needs renovation, they are very clean and tidy but not in good shape. The hotel staff was nice and very helpful, they are good people and very chatty too. The hotel is great with maximum security so be sure that you will be safe here. The pool is nice and clean and I had some dips once in a while throughout my 5 days stay at this small but nice hotel. In my opinion when I compare it to other hotels I have been to, it is a little bit expensive for the value I get. The hotel seems to have nice management and supervises the staff and how they relate with their guests. English was a little bit of a problem since I didn’t understand Spanish but somehow we made it work ad even though communication was hectic, I still managed to get my message across. Breakfast at the café was great, it was delicious and I loved the choices as well. I ate out almost all the time when it comes to lunch and dinner but it was expensive. The location of this hotel is great as it is not far from everything you may need. I will come back here again because it’s not that bad.
